Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Print Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production of printed materials, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining efficient workflow. Duties
- Operate various printing and finishing equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct quality checks on printed products to meet specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, repairs, or adjustments of printing components
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently
- Support fabrication tasks such as cutting, sewing, or assembling printed items as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot printing machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Experience in sewing or fabricating materials is desirable but not essential
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory management and logistics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout shifts
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
