Job Title: Vehicle Technician – FRF Toyota

As a Vehicle Technician you will carry out a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner. The aim is to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Road testing the vehicle to check the repair work
- Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
- Stay updated on the latest Toyota technologies, tools, and repair techniques.
- Adhere to all company policies and manufacturer's guidelines.
- Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.
- Providing support to less experienced colleagues.
- Attending regular training to update technical skills.
- Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either yourself or others.
- To have due regard for Health and Safety of others whilst undertaking your duties
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Skills/ Knowledge
- An excellent knowledge of motor technology
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work and achieve targets
- The ability to solve problems
Qualifications and Experience
- An NVQ 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Service Technician experience and ideally, you will also have some main dealership experience
- An MOT testing qualification, desirable
- A full valid driving licence as a minimum
- Full DBS disclosure is required
