Job Summary
Pimelea Care Services is a family-led, CQC-registered domiciliary care provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support within people's own homes. We support older adults, people living with dementia, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and individuals requiring complex care.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, person-centred care and support in clients' own homes.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Support clients with medication in line with training and company procedures.
- Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks, and encourage good nutrition and hydration.
- Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Support clients to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social activities.
- Complete accurate electronic care records and report any changes in a client's health or wellbeing.
- Safeguard vulnerable adults and report any concerns in accordance with company policies.
- Work as part of a team whilst promoting dignity, independence, choice, and respect.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and infection control guidance.
To be a Pimelea Care Services Care Worker you do need:
- A UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
- To take an enhanced DBS check
- Be flexible to work, mornings, evenings and alternate weekend
Pay: £12.82-£13.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Grimsby, Lincolnshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
