ABOUT THE MANGO GROUP
The Mango Group is a growing, family-run group of businesses based in Bangor, Co. Down, with interests across customer contact, fulfilment, technology, hospitality and property.
The Group includes:
Mango Direct Marketing – Customer contact and fulfilment services.
MEMO – Telephone answering and customer communications.
Stormy Cup Café – A local café and hospitality business.
Mango Estates – Property investment and management.
This placement offers the opportunity to gain hands-on marketing experience across four different businesses and brands.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative and digitally savvy Marketing Placement Student to support the Mango Group, with a strong focus on social media management, content creation and digital marketing.
You will help create engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, while gaining experience in blogging, digital content, employer branding and wider marketing activity.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Social Media & Content
- Help manage our TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn channels.
- Create posts, Reels, TikToks, Stories, graphics and videos.
- Keep up with trends and bring fresh content ideas to life.
- Capture and edit photos and short-form video.
Blogs & Digital Content
- Research and write engaging blogs and digital content.
- Repurpose content for websites and social media.
- Assist with proofreading and keeping online content up to date.
Marketing Support
- Help promote our businesses, people, culture, events and achievements.
- Support recruitment marketing and employer branding.
- Assist with marketing administration, content calendars and organising resources.
- Support market research, event promotion and wider marketing projects.
- Monitor social media performance and analytics.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:
- Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas
- Confident using social media platforms
- Interested in creating and editing video content
- Keen to develop blogging and digital content skills
- Proactive, organised and willing to get stuck in
- Not afraid to bring new ideas and try something different
- A confident communicator with a good eye for detail
Studying Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications or a related subject is desirable but not essential.
