Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to create a friendly and lively atmosphere
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of alcohol and glassware
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably within a bar setting
- Knowledge of safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
