Make a Real Difference to People Struggling with Debt
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys helping people and making a positive impact? Are you hard-working, motivated and looking to take the next step in your career?
Every day, people contact us feeling overwhelmed by debt and unsure where to turn. As a Debt Solutions Lead Generation Specialist, you’ll be the first person they speak to — taking the time to understand their circumstances, put them at ease and guide them towards the support they need.
We’re a well-established Insolvency Practice based in Eccles, Greater Manchester, and we’re growing our debt help team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm that values integrity, collaboration and professional development — and rewards your hard work, skills and dedication.
Career Progression
This role is a genuine pathway into insolvency and financial services. With training and support from experienced professionals, there are clear opportunities to progress into Senior Advisor, Drafting or Team Leader positions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the first point of contact for individuals seeking help with their finances
- Speak with clients who have contacted us via phone or our website
- Conduct structured conversations to understand each client’s financial situation
- Gather information on income, expenditure and debt levels
- Ask thoughtful questions to build a clear picture of the client’s circumstances
- Assess affordability and potential eligibility for suitable debt solutions
- Build trust and rapport with clients who may be feeling stressed or vulnerable
- Ensure all client information is recorded accurately and professionally
What We’re Looking For
You don’t necessarily need debt help experience — what matters most is the right attitude and strong communication skills. We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly, empathetic and great at talking to people
- Confident asking questions and guiding conversations
- Positive and solution-focused
- Professional and client-focused
- Ethical and committed to putting the customer first
- Motivated to learn and develop within the financial services sector
Experience in customer service, sales, call centres or financial services would be beneficial but is not essential.
Working Hours
Part time, permanent — weekend hours only, ideal alongside other commitments. Shifts are 8 hours per day:
- Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Saturday: early shift 9:00am – 5:00pm, or late shift 12:00pm – 8:00pm
