Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Part 2 Scaffolder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures to ensure safe and efficient access for various building projects. Your expertise will support a wide range of construction activities, including carpentry, roofing, masonry, and more. Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, masons, roofers, and electricians to facilitate smooth workflow
- Follow detailed plans and drawings to assemble scaffolding accurately in various configurations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around scaffolding sites to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with the transportation and handling of scaffolding materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support fabrication tasks related to scaffolding components when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience as a Part 2 Scaffolder or similar role within construction environments
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and fabrication processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and chisels
- Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and safety instructions accurately
- Excellent understanding of construction painting techniques for finishing touches when required
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in challenging outdoor conditions safely
