We have an exciting opportunity available at Paws on Track - we are looking for a Dog Groomer to join our team!
Our ethos is “Humanity over Vanity”, meaning we put the welfare of our furry clients above the way they look. We accept ALL dogs(all sizes and all breeds) with all their quirks and difficulties, so we need a groomer who is prepared for this- a lot of our clients are nervous and/or reactive. We will happily teach you how to deal with dog aggression if it's not something you have experienced, but we need someone who is willing to take these challenges on within a supportive team.
We are looking for a FULLY QUALIFIED groomer with City & Guilds level 3 qualification or equivalent (iPet qualification etc.) with a MINIMUM of one year's experience(grooming dogs from start to finish), who can complete small/medium doodle type full grooms in 2 hours.
This would be a SELF EMPLOYED position working Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and every other Saturday, so you would rent the space from us and invoice Paws on Track for your payment each week, as all transactions go through our main till.
This would mean you pick your own holidays & have the potential to make more money than as an employee.
We currently are running a full diary over 2 months ahead so there is as much work as you want without having to build your own client base from scratch
We all work flexibly within the company which we love and encourage, but we do need someone who works as hard as the rest of the team.
We would be conducting a very informal interview with a half-day trial to see how you are around dogs and give you an experience of what it's like to work with us (apologies in advance!!)
