SECOND CHEF, role is working closely with our amazing head chef and running the kitchen on her days off.

The Role
As Sous Chef (second Chef) at the White Lion Inn, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You’ll be a hands-on, supporting the Head Chef while ensuring consistently high standards.
You will:
- Prepare and present quality fresh food to a high standard
- Support menu development, including seasonal dishes and daily specials
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team
- Manage stock, ordering and kitchen organisation
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and compliance
- Work closely with front-of-house to deliver a smooth, enjoyable service
This role requires working a mix of Split and some straight shifts( covering both lunch and evening service and occasionally, breakfast, split and straight shifts )
