Overall Purpose of the job:
Assist in all Projects (as laid out below), in the daily running and operations.
Requirements:
The candidate should ideally have a good understanding of mechanical systems and components. They need to have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings including problem solving and troubleshooting.
The candidate will have experience in liaising with customers and suppliers both on and off site and be able to build and grow the new and existing customer base.
It is essential that the candidate can measure, design and draw Mechanical items (both rough and detailed) including the use of CAD or similar software.
Excellent understanding and use of Quality control standard documentation including ISO 9001 and ISO 1090. Experience in ISO 29001 would be desirable.
The candidate will be proficient in the preparation, reviewing and redrafting of drawings and documentation when required.
They will be able to create pre work costings, prepare quotations, upload and negotiate through the designated data base and send on information to the relevant parties.
The candidate should be able to work alone but also integral to the existing team, be able to prepare project packages including material specifications, treatments and standards etc prioritise their workload and deliver out work scope to factory floor personnel.
The candidate ideally would have knowledge of purchasing, stock control and ordering would also be beneficial.
The candidate should ideally have experience working in conjunction with Health and safety documentation and have an understanding of the Risk Assessment and Method Statement processes.
The candidate should have the relevant attributes to become an Ambassador of the business and have a proven track record in previous roles.
