Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of various dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal before serving
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
- Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements based on customer feedback and culinary trends
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
