Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in providing excellent pharmaceutical services. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Duties:
- Dispensing prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing patient care and advice on medication usage
- Assisting in medication administration processes
- Maintaining proper stock levels of medications and supplies
- Processing prescriptions and handling queries from patients or healthcare professionals
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is essential - NVQ2 qualification is desirable
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritising patient safety and confidentiality
