PG Fast Food is coming to Soho, and we're looking for an energetic, reliable and hands-on Shift Supervisor to join our brand-new store.
This is more than a typical Supervisor role. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll help lead the team and take responsibility for the store's day-to-day operation.
When the General Manager isn't in the store, you are the manager on duty and responsible for the store as a whole.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and support the team during shifts.
- Take ownership of the store when the General Manager is absent.
- Monitor daily sales and operational performance.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and respond to unexpected absences.
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer issues professionally.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, health & safety and hygiene.
- Support stock control, ordering, and waste management.
- Complete opening and closing procedures correctly.
- Solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively with the general manager.
- Be hands-on and work alongside the team during busy periods.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience as a supervisor, shift leader, team leader, or similar.
- Is reliable, honest, accountable, and proactive.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Can stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Enjoys developing and supporting others.
- Takes pride in high operational and hygiene standards.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Is willing to learn and grow with a new business.
Flexibility is essential
This is a fully flexible full-time role.
You must be available for weekdays, weekends, evenings, opening and closing shifts, and bank holidays where required.
The store operates into the evening.
