**360 8T MACHINE OPERATOR/LABOURER REQUIRED**
Phillips Waste Management are a family run company based in Selby, looking for a new machine operator to join the waste team. The role includes mainly loading a trommel for the picking line as well as segregating waste types into the relevant recycling streams which will involve sorting by hand, assisting waste sorters when the machine is not in operation. Responsibilities to include daily checks, greasing the machine, reporting defects, assisting with breakdowns & general yard duties.
Experience Operating a 360 machine is essential although training is provided for the specifics of waste management.
Hours - 07.30 - 17.00 Mon-Fri will be required to work at least 2 Saturday Mornings per month during seasonal high demand - Further Overtime is available.
Please note we are not on a public transport route therefore own transport is a necessity.
Good overtime rates - Further career progression available for the right candidate.
Hourly Rate is dependant upon experience.
