PLEASE NOTE: To keep our recruitment process efficient, we are only accepting applications from candidates currently based in Scotland who have the existing Right to Work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship). You must be available to attend a face-to-face interview at our Hamilton clinic at short notice.
Full-Time Physiotherapist
If you've built a solid foundation as a Band 5 and you're starting to think about what "next" should look like, this is worth reading properly.
Public-sector caseloads tend to mean less time per patient as pressure builds, not through anyone's fault, just the reality of the system. We've built our clinic to offer the opposite for early-career physios: the time, mentorship, and tools to consolidate good clinical habits early, rather than working them out under pressure a few years down the line.
The Essentials
- Salary: Starting from £37,000 per annum (negotiable on experience).
- Hours: 37 hours per week (33 clinical / 4 dedicated admin & CPD).
- Structure: 60-minute assessment and treatment slots.
- Tech: Fully fitted rehab gym, VALD testing equipment, and AI-powered note-taking.
Learn Physiotherapy Properly, From Day One
Early career is when your habits get set. We've built our clinic to make sure the habits you set are the right ones.
- Time to Think: It means time to think through your clinical reasoning properly, educate your patients, and deliver the rehab you actually want to give, not the rehab the clock allows
- Real Mentorship: You'll get regular 1-on-1 time with our Clinical Director. Not a five-minute corridor chat between patients, but genuine case discussion, feedback, and guidance while you're still building your clinical judgement.
- Zero-Admin Focus: AI-powered documentation generates your clinical notes in real time. Your admin is finished the moment your patient leaves the room and your 4 protected admin/CPD hours a week are yours to actually develop, not just catch up on backlog.
- End-to-End Care: No "handfuls" of sessions and a discharge target hanging over you. You'll see your patients' full recovery from start to finish which is the fastest way to learn what works.
Build Real Clinical Confidence
- Complete Patient Relationships: You'll follow people through their whole rehab journey, not just a slice of it. Seeing outcomes, not just discharging into the unknown, is how genuine confidence gets built.
- Communication Under Real Conditions: You'll learn the sensitive, trust-building conversations with mentorship alongside you, not by being thrown in.
The Commercial Side, We'll Teach You
Private practice means being comfortable discussing treatment plans and cost with patients, openly and confidently. If that's new to you, that's expected, not a barrier. Part of your mentoring and CPD time is specifically about building this skill, so every conversation is transparent, professional, and confident, without winging it.
Who You Are
- Early Career: Around 1–2 years of post-qualifying experience, a strong Band 5 who wants their next step to be a deliberate one, not just the next rung on the ladder.
- Eager to Progress: You want structured mentoring, not to be left to sink or swim. You're building your independence, with a safety net while you do it.
- Curious: You ask questions, welcome feedback, and aren't afraid to say when you're unsure.
- Qualified: HCPC Registered and CSP Member.
