This post is Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm on a fixed term contract.
The John Frost School has a long-standing reputation for being a supportive and caring environment, achieving excellent results for our students.
We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants who will be a committed and enthusiastic part of our team within ALN. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. One role will be focussed on literacy support and the other on numeracy. These posts will help every student to achieve their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities
Implement programmes linked to local learning strategies e.g. literacy, numeracy, ICT.
- Contribute to the teacher’s planning and delivering of learning activities.
- Promote high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
- Provide the teacher with oral and written feedback on students’ progress and achievement.
