We are now looking for an Apparel Print Production Supervisor to join our team, to oversee a small team and ensure the delivery of exemplary standards of production in our growing garment decoration department.
In addition to your printing duties, this varied and interesting role involves a range of administrative and customer service tasks in support of our in-store and online services.
Responsibilities include:
- To manage the day-to-day activities & workflow of the team.
- To coach, mentor and instruct the team, providing support as required.
- To ensure the effective handling of customer enquiries.
- To oversee the management of key dance school accounts and work with them to produce printed uniform collections.
- To prepare artwork ready for printing using software applications
- To weed, cut and press vinyl transfers onto garment blanks.
- To work closely with the dancewear design team to create & produce off-the-shelf, printed dancewear products.
- To oversee the sourcing and acquisition of garment blanks, ready for printing
- Ability and willingness to multi-skill to support the wider team
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a garment printing environment. Must be experienced and highly proficient in using the full range of printing equipment such as vinyl cutters and heat presses.
An excellent understanding of artwork production and garment printing methods is required, with exemplarary graphic design skills including the use of Adobe Illustrator.
Strong people skills are essential, with experience in a supervisory role, a distinct advantage. Excellent communication skills in all forms are essential to ably process the full range of customer enquiries.
The working hours for this role are 37 per week, Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. The competitive salary for this role is negotiable, dependent upon experience.
