Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver Class 2 Moffett to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed lorries equipped with Moffett forklifts, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 lorries with Moffett forklift attachments, primarily on flatbed vehicles.
- Conduct pre-journey safety checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition.
- Load and unload goods using the Moffett forklift, ensuring correct handling and securing of cargo.
- Deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during daily operations.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance and reporting any issues or damages promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with relevant experience in commercial driving.
- Proven experience operating flatbed vehicles with Moffett forklift attachments is highly desirable.
- Delivery driver experience preferred, with a strong understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Good knowledge of road regulations and safety standards within the UK.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.
