Female Carer/Personal Assistant/ Driver part time positions are required to provide personal and practical assistance, to enable a disabled lady live a more independent life. I am 20 and have full capacity. I love to have fun and I have a passion for Abstract Art, I also have a brilliant personality.
I require 2:1 care and so the successful candidate will be working as part of a team. For the right candidate we would take on someone without previous experience as they would be able to learn my needs on the job. Ideally the candidate must be outgoing and have a fun personality but not to lively. I have quadriplegia cerebral palsy. I use a power chair to get around in. I love to go out shopping , visiting new places , going for walks etc. I also love hair and beauty, music, art, cooking, football and good conversations. I also wor occasionally. My disability is physical not cognitive. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative When required.
MAIN DUTIES:
As part of a team you will be required to
Escort and support me to events and outings. Occasionally Assistance with personal care; to help with washing, toileting and dressing needs .
Assistance at meal time's with feeding. .
Assistance to complete daily physio exercises and to attend therapy /hospital appointments ..
Assistance with domestic duties; laundry, changing my bed, cleaning and dusting my rooms and washing only
To support me on holidays
Supporting me to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on my individual hobbies, preferences and abilities.
To work flexibly as part of a team.
You will be required to maintain high personal standards at all times in the home and out.
Working Hours: Varied hours per week, to be worked between : Monday-Sunday on rota. Mondays and Thursdays are require mainly but can change due to work commitments in the future, there may be some nights eventually. Maybe able to offer more hours. Must be flexible. To work between the times of 08.30-21.00 on shift rota. Occasionally a 06.00am start will be required when I am working as an extra on tv. Night times would be discussed in the future.
Driving is an essential part of the job. I have a wheelchair accessible van

Rate of Pay: £12.71per hour
Successful applicants must like pets (cats, dogs etc)
The successful applicant for this role will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
