We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team.
As CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and manufacturing drawings, taking projects from initial customer drawings through to manufacture.
This role is critical to ensuring designs accurately meet customer specifications, project timescales and manufacturing requirements, supporting the smooth flow of work from design into production.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Modelling
- Create and develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Convert customer 2D drawings into accurate 3D models for client approval.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings for our fabrication team.
Project Delivery
- Manage projects from concept through to manufacture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements.
- Ensure projects remain within the agreed specification and timescales.
- Follow established company design processes and quality standards.
Documentation & Systems
- Upload and manage design documentation through customer design portals where required.
- Keep drawing registers and project records accurate and up to date.
Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with colleagues and customers to resolve technical queries and support successful project delivery.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a smooth handover from design into manufacture.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
