Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team in a dynamic food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet production goals.
18:00 – 06:00 – 4on 4off
£14.15 per hour
Responsibilities:
- To follow all SOPs in their daily work, effectively and safety.
- Follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full.
- To maintain all areas in a clean and tidy condition.
- To assist training other personnel to ensure that they work efficiently and safely as applicable.
- To ensure that company safety procedures and Health and Safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain all necessary production records.
- Maintain and help to improve all department KPIs.
- To report any Health and Safety, quality issues immediately to their Team Leaders.
- Undertake all opportunities for training and development
- Support continuous improvement actions either individually or as part of a team;
- Report any issues e.g. faulty equipment, any problems with products or traceability to your team leader;
- Pack products to the highest standards;
- Use Epicor in a correct manner;
- Where necessary, carry out other reasonable duties as required to support production
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food production.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
