Duties
- Support clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility assistance
- Develop and follow personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure quality care
- Use IT tools to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Drive clients safely to appointments or errands when required, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Paid travel time and call waiting time
Requirements
- Valid driving license and reliable vehicle for home visits when necessary
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs of clients
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Willingness to undertake training related to health and safety standards in care environments
