If you've got a bit of air conditioning installation experience behind you and you want to come out of the next couple of years a proper installation engineer, here's a role worth reading about.
You've been on enough jobs to know you like the work. You can run pipework, you've assisted on installs, and you're starting to see how it all goes together. What you haven't had yet is someone good to learn it from properly, or a clear route from where you are now to running your own installs.
That's what this is. You'll work alongside experienced installation engineers on domestic splits and multi-splits in people's homes. Fitting indoor and outdoor units, running pipework, pressure testing, vacuuming, helping with commissioning. You'll be doing the work, not watching it, and picking up the standard from people who already do it well.
What you'll be doing
Domestic split and multi-split installs across Cambridgeshire and Chelmsford, in occupied homes. Hands-on from day one, paired with an engineer who knows the job. As you get more capable, you take on more yourself.
What you'll need
You've assisted on split installs and you understand the basics of how a system goes in. That's the foundation. A willingness to learn matters more than the qualifications - F-Gas Cat 1 or 2 helps if you've got it, but it's not essential, and a full UK licence is preferred.
