We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in a care home environment or assisting clients within their own homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively during daytime hours. Previous experience in care settings, along with driving skills, is desirable but not essential. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team.
Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and dignity
Following personalised care plans to meet individual needs and preferences
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Maintaining accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies
Communicating effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals under your care at all times
Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not mandatory
Driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred for home care roles
Good organisational skills and ability to follow care plans accurately
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
