The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring in residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of flooring installation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently as a sub contract .
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for flooring installation specifications
- Cut, shape, and lay flooring materials such as laminate, hardwood, vinyl, or carpet using own hand tools and power tools
- Ensure all flooring is fitted accurately and securely, adhering to safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Must have own Van and tools
- Reliable and take pride in their work.
