Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support clients with medication management according to care plans and ensure proper documentation of all care activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using company vehicles while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow detailed care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and communicate effectively with team members about client progress
- Ensure a safe environment by conducting regular safety checks and responding promptly to any emergencies or changes in condition
Skills
- Valid driving license and experience driving various vehicle types, ensuring safe transportation of clients
- Previous experience working in a care home or delivering home care services with a strong understanding of care plans
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency with IT systems for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and demonstrate empathy
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to care settings and home environments
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
