Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter / Tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing bathroom surfaces with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare bathroom surfaces for tiling and fittings in accordance with project specifications
- Install tiles, fixtures, and fittings such as bathtubs, sinks, and cabinets with accuracy and care
- Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to cut, shape, and secure materials effectively
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure precise installation
- Perform surface preparation including plastering and painting as needed for a seamless finish
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Troubleshoot issues during installation and make necessary adjustments for optimal results
Skills
- Proven experience in construction, tiling, or bathroom fitting roles
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and screwdrivers
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively including drills, saws, and grinders
- Strong carpentry skills for framing or fitting fixtures where required
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques for finishing touches
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members

Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
