Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Verify prescription details, including dosage, labeling, and patient information, to ensure correctness
- Assist with medication administration processes, supporting healthcare providers and patients as needed
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and transaction logs
- Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates to uphold quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar medication dispensing role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prevent errors in medication handling
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
