Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises using both foot and vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Utilize CCTV systems to oversee key areas, ensuring continuous surveillance and quick response to incidents
- Work closely with trained security dogs to detect unauthorized access, contraband, or potential threats
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism early and intervening appropriately
- Perform routine inspections of facilities, including perimeter checks and fence line audits
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by coordinating with emergency services and executing first aid procedures when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and surveillance activities to ensure accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong understanding of surveillance techniques, including CCTV operation and monitoring skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining alertness and professionalism
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and basic first aid procedures is highly desirable
- Excellent observation skills with a keen eye for detail and suspicious behavior
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid certification in first aid or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring
