Host / Hostess (Part-Time) – Day Shifts

18-24 hours per week
The Rise Care Home is a beautiful country house set within 9 acres of landscaped gardens, providing high-quality, person-centred care to 36 elderly residents. We pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming atmosphere and supportive team.
We are looking for a part-time Host / Hostess to join our friendly team and support residents during mealtimes and refreshments throughout the day.
About the role:
- Serving breakfast to residents in their rooms
- Preparing simple items only (toast and porridge – no cooking required)
- Clearing trays, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and washing up
- Preparing crockery and cutlery for the next service
- Serving morning tea and coffee to residents in their rooms and in the lounge
- Assisting with the lunch service in the dining room
- Clearing crockery and cutlery and relaying tables after lunch
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the servery, adjacent areas, and dining room
- Complying with all health and safety requirements

No previous experience is necessary — full training will be provided. Common sense and a positive attitude are essential.
