High Grange Developments is seeking an experienced Site Operative to support the delivery of our residential, commercial and heritage refurbishment projects across West Cumbria.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys varied work and takes pride in maintaining high standards of workmanship.
You’ll work across multiple projects, supporting all stages of construction and refurbishment while helping maintain safe, efficient and well-organised sites.
Responsibilities
General construction and refurbishment works
Demolition and strip-out
First and second fix assistance
Groundworks and external works
Material handling and deliveries
Operating plant and equipment (where qualified)
Site maintenance and housekeeping
Working independently and alongside subcontractors
Maintaining excellent health and safety standards
About You
Essential:
Previous experience working on construction sites
Strong understanding of site safety
Good practical skills
Ability to work independently
Reliable and hardworking
Full UK driving licence
