Job Overview
We are looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for curtainside and refrigerated (fridge) trailers to join our growing transport team at based in Immingham. £195/day plus tramping and extra jobs for increased income.
Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles while delivering and collecting goods on time and maintaining a high standard of customer service while communicating with the transport office regarding deliveries, delays or any issues.
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks, complete all required transport documentation accurately and keep vehicles clean and report any defects promptly.
Follow all DVSA regulations, Working Time Directive, company procedures and secure loads correctly while ensuring cargo is transported safely.
Skills
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
- Experience with curtainside and/or refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- ADR licence is an advantage.
