Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions with precision and attention to detail
- Administer medications to patients following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Maintain accurate medication records, inventory management, and documentation compliance
- Support the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians and support staff to uphold high standards of service
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including pharmacy laws and safety procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans and medication therapies
Requirements
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medication preparation and dispensing processes
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices
- Certification as a pharmacy technician as required by local regulations
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

Pay: £13.00-£13.75 per hour
