Automotive MET/Panel/Paint technician OTE £45,000 - £50,000+ pa + £1000 Golden Hello
About us:
Cooper Barnes Ltd is a multi award winning, family run business based in Linton, Cambridgeshire. We are looking for an experienced automotive MET/Panel (light)/ Paint technician to join our expanding team.
Requirements:
- Basic pay from £15 to £20 per hour depending on experience and time saved bonus
- 45 hours per week
- Upward of 125% efficiency achievable
- Must be experienced in MET and light panel tasks
- Must be experienced in vehicle body prep to an exceptional standard
- Must be experienced in vehicle body spray painting to an exceptional standard
- Must be experienced in vehicle body detailing and paint correction to an exceptional standard
- Be flexible
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good standard of spoken and written English
- Have the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure without compromising on quality
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Be able to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner
- Have an awareness of confidentiality issues
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude towards work
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must have thorough in-depth knowledge of different brands of materials
- Must has expertise using water based systems.
- Up to date ATA or LNQ L3 desirable but not essential.
- £1000 to be paid after 3 months of continued service and subject to the completion of the probationary period
