Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Optical Manager to oversee the daily operations of our optical department. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of optical staff, including optometrist and optical assistants, to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee the organisation and maintenance of optical equipment and inventory, ensuring all tools meet safety standards.
- Provide expert guidance on lens selection, frame fitting, and visual correction options to optimise patient satisfaction.
- Ensure laboratory procedures are performed accurately, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Implement training programmes for staff development and ensure ongoing professional education.
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and legal requirements related to eye care services.
- Foster excellent patient relationships through professional communication and personalised care.
