Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Kitchen Staff to join our team. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Support catering events by preparing ingredients and plating dishes as required
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Serve food to customers or staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Help with inventory management by organising stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
- Support the team during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards is advantageous
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, or food presentation is desirable
- Familiarity with serving food in a fast-paced setting will be beneficial
- A keen interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills is highly valued
