Job Title: Security Officer

Shift Patterns: Working Monday to Sunday on a rolling pattern, 6 on 3 off, consisting of 6-day shifts, or 6-night shifts, 3 shifts off or 4 on 4 off shift pattern days, nights. Average hours per week – Various.

Job Overview
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Officer to join our team at a site in Lower Thames Street, Central London.
This is a full-time role.
Holiday and sickness cover may be required therefore all interested applicants need to be fully flexible in their approach and attitude.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Security Manned Guarding Services.
· Access/Egress Control Duties.
· Monitoring CCTV.
· Regular/Irregular Site Inspection Patrols of the Assignment.
· Performing regular Health and Safety checks.
· Regular and accurate report writing.
· Dealing with First Aid situations as/when they arise.
· Proactive interaction with the client & their staff, visitors to the site as well as contractors; ensuring that superb customer service is always provided.
· Dealing with enquiries and reporting any issues on site.
· Covering all required security related duties as/when required.
· Carrying out any other reasonable management requests.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
· Essential - SIA DS License
· Essential - 5, Year UK Residency
· Desirable - First Aid
· Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
· Proof of right to work and live in the UK.
Brief calibre of Person required:
- Very smart with an excellent command of the English language
- Able to work as part of a Team and also on own.
- Approachable.
- Diplomatic.
- Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ – when applicable.
- Reliable.
- Flexible and willing to learn new procedures.
Successful applicant will be required to undergo Home Office SC Clearance to work at this site.
