Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Location: North East England must have full clean UK licence. Covering TS, SR, DL, NE Postcodes.

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and is willing to support other areas of the business when required.
The Role
The successful candidate will carry out a range of painting and decorating works, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
As part of a growing team, there will also be occasions where you will be required to assist with other restoration, maintenance, and property-related tasks when decorating work is not scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation including filling, sanding, stripping, and priming
- Internal and external painting work
- Wallpaper hanging and removal
- Applying a variety of decorative finishes
- Carrying out snagging and finishing works to a high standard
- Protecting work areas and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
- Liaising professionally with customers and clients
- Assisting with general restoration, maintenance, and property repair tasks when required
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Experience in wallpaper hanging and decorative finishes
- Strong preparation and finishing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel to various work locations
- Flexibility to support wider business operations when required
Desirable
- Experience within property maintenance, restoration, insurance repairs, or refurbishment projects
- Basic multi-trade skills
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within the construction industry
