Duties
- Assist senior technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units and related HVAC equipment
- Study and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to understand system layouts and troubleshooting procedures
- Support routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of air conditioning systems
- Participate in diagnosing issues using mechanical knowledge to identify faults and recommend solutions
- Help with equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades under supervision
- Contribute to site safety by following construction site protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to develop a comprehensive understanding of HVAC system design
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in HVAC systems and equipment repair
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints is a plus
- Strong motivation to learn new skills with a proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Construction experience or background in related trades is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on construction sites
