We’ve got a fantastic opportunity to work within a prestigious school to work as an IT/ Computer Science Teaching Assistant. If you currently hold a degree in Computer Science, then this could be the ideal position for you.
The successful Computer Science Teaching Assistant must:
- Have a Computer Science based degree with a 2:2 or above. Strong A-level results in the subject will also be ideal.
- Be passionate about Computer Science as well as passionate about supporting students.
- Be able to inspire and motivate and be patient.
- Have high expectations for students learning achievement and behaviour
- Be Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people
- Be creative, friendly and approachable
- Have classroom teaching experience.

- Sept start to July 2027 and beyond

Who are Step Into Teaching?
We are a pre teacher training programme designed to support and encourage graduates like yourself to choose to teach. We will typically provide you with one years’ worth of practical school-based experience that is an essential foundation for a long-lasting successful career in teaching, educational psychology or counselling. This experience will allow you to qualify for teacher training in the future and give you insight into whether teaching is for you.
