About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and qualified CAD Draftsperson to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and detailed design documentation for a variety of kitchen projects while working closely with our manufacturing team
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate CAD drawings from design specifications and survey information.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for manufacture, construction, and installation.
- Revise and update existing drawings as projects develop.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards and company procedures.
- Liaise with project co-ordinator to clarify design requirements.
- Maintain organised drawing records and document control.
- Support project planning by producing drawings within agreed deadlines.
- Identify and resolve design issues before production or installation.
Essential Requirements
- Qualification in CAD, Engineering, Design, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman or CAD Technician.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within manufacturing is preferred, though not essential
