Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support & Oversight
- Work closely with the General Manager to support day-to-day operational performance across departments.
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Help ensure operational processes are followed and business objectives are achieved.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives and business improvements.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Act as a key link between Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure communication between departments is clear, efficient, and effective.
- Track actions, projects, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
Process Improvement
- Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support projects designed to increase productivity and remove operational bottlenecks.
- Identify smarter ways of working using technology and automation.
Data & Performance Monitoring
- Assist in tracking operational KPIs and business performance metrics.
- Produce reports and insights to support informed decision-making.
- Analyse trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
Project Management
- Support and occasionally lead operational projects.
- Coordinate timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
- Assist with business improvement initiatives and system developments.
Leadership & Team Support
- Provide support and guidance to team members where required.
- Help ensure teams remain aligned with company objectives and priorities.
- Support the rollout of operational strategies and management initiatives.
Strategic Support
- Participate in discussions around business growth and future planning.
- Help turn strategic objectives into practical actions.
- Work closely with senior leadership to help drive business success.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an organised, ambitious, and forward-thinking individual who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and embracing new technologies.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, operations, executive assistant, business support, or management support role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and business software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
- Comfortable working full-time from our Harworth office, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, automate tasks, and support business growth.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, logistics, or a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Experience analysing data and producing business reports.
- Experience supporting operational improvement projects.
- Business Administration qualification or related certification.
- Understanding of workflow optimisation and process improvement.
