Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Alexandra Care Home with Nursing in Poulton Le Fylde. Based in one of our welcoming care homes, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care that aligns with our resident-centered approach and values. Your contribution will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in elder care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with residents and their families.
- Lead and support care staff to uphold best practices and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident health status and interventions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of care planning processes and healthcare regulations.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life.
- (Preferred) Experience with NVQ certification processes or willingness to undertake training.
The ideal candidate will be available to work nights, 8pm until 8am and this will be on either a 36 hours or 48 hours contracted per week.
