Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
- Provide excellent patient care
- Maintain meticulous records of stock levels
- Ensure all medications are stored correctly and expiry dates are monitored regularly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes
- Provide over the counter advice to patients under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Undertake any necessary work as may be required and appropriate to maintain a high standard and efficient pharmacy service
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
