Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Leicester - 4 on 4 off shifts, days and nights.
£59,306 including shift pay plus additional earning opportunities and bonus.
We are seeking skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineers to deliver a combination of PPM scheduled maintenance, reactive fault-finding and repair duties, and plant reliability improvements through the application of modern maintenance practices and Root Cause Analysis skills.
The environment is FMCG manufacturing in a state of the art facility. Candidates with exposure to high volume, high speed food manufacturing would be of particular interest however we are keen to speak with all electrical maintenance engineers trained by way of apprenticeship to at least level 3 NVQ in a manufacturing environement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Electrical maintenance of plant equipment using your electrical engineering and fault finding skills
- Perform emergency repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose faults using Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify underlying issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance.
- Trained by way of a recognised apprenticeship.
- Strong Electro-Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Experience working with CMMS applications.
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical fault-finding techniques
- Understanding of SCADA control systems would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of PLC systems - Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens is an advantage for fault-finding purposes.
- Exposure and experience in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and tools
