We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Bar Person to join our team. This is approximately 21 hours per week, Friday, Saturday & Sunday shifts plus covering holiday/sickness when needed. It may lead to more hours in the future. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of running our members bar and providing exceptional service to our guests. We need someone who has experience of working in the licence trade including cellar management, stock control and supervision and management of staff. Managing staff rota, absence and back up. The Candidate must have a demonstrable experience in dealing with all aspects of running a licence premises and holding a personal licence would be preferrred but not essential . The candidate will have a pleasant, approachable attitude, have excellent customer service and communication skills, be reliable, trustworthy and able to provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction to club members and guests. Promoting a firm but friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the club. Would suit a local person due to late shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the bar
- Cellar & stock management
- Working in the bar and checking memberships when our door person is not on duty
- Cash Handling and sorting money out ready for banking
- Card Payments
- Key Holder
- Maintaining all bar and cellar areas
- Liaising with the committee with forthcoming hiring
- Engaging with the bar and committees
- Engaging with office administrator regarding events in the halls and maintaining the small bar in these halls
- call outs in conjunction with a local security company
Hours and pay will be discussed at interview.
