Lead a Brand-New Children's Residential Home
Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new Children's Residential Home?
We are recruiting a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to launch and lead a new 2-bed Children's Residential Home in Basingstoke, supporting one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for opening and managing the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations.
You will recruit and develop your team, maintain excellent safeguarding standards and work closely with professionals to deliver exceptional care and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the opening and day-to-day management of the home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a committed staff team.
- Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
- Promote safeguarding and child-centred practice.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities and external professionals.
- Maintain high standards of care, documentation and quality assurance.
- Drive positive outcomes and continuous service improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards/completed).
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
- Experience supporting young people with EBD.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Pay: £55,475.08-£60,918.11 per year
