Oceanway Lifecare Ltd is seeking an experienced and well-connected Social Worker to support the growth of our domiciliary care and supported living services.
The main purpose of this role is to generate new business and secure suitable client referrals from local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals and private sources.
Key responsibilities:
- Build relationships with local councils, commissioning teams and social care professionals.
- Secure new domiciliary care and supported living referrals.
- Generate private care enquiries through professional networks and suitable marketing channels.
- Promote our services to local authorities, NHS partners and community organisations.
- Identify tender, framework and spot-purchase opportunities.
- Attend meetings and support presentations and service proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals and outcomes.
- Work towards clear and agreed business-development targets.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Minimum of four years’ relevant social care experience.
- Good knowledge of domiciliary care and supported living services.
- Existing relationships with local authorities, commissioners or referral professionals are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in business development, referrals or care-sector commissioning.
- Strong communication, negotiation and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve agreed targets.
Commission:
Commission will be paid upon achieving agreed targets. The targets, qualifying conditions and commission amounts will be confirmed in writing before the successful candidate begins the role.
Pay: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
