Job description
Sales Development Representative — Pharmacy Software (StockIQ) £28,000 base · £35,000 OTE (uncapped) · Full-time, permanent
About StockIQ
StockIQ is an EPOS and inventory management platform built specifically for community pharmacy. It's already live across a 200+ branch network, handling goods-in verification, wholesaler price comparison across AAH, Alliance and Phoenix, NHS dm+d integration, barcode scanning and AI-powered invoice processing.
It wasn't built by a software company guessing at what pharmacies need. It was built inside a pharmacy group, by pharmacists, to fix problems we had ourselves. We're now opening it up to other groups and independents — and you'd be the first commercial hire on it.
The role
You'll be the first point of contact for pharmacy groups who don't yet know StockIQ exists. Your job is to find them, start the conversation, and get the right person into a demo.
Day to day, you'll:
Build and work a target list of independent pharmacy groups and multiples across the UK
Reach out by phone, email and LinkedIn to superintendents, owners and operations managers
Qualify properly — branch count, current EPOS, what's actually broken for them
Book demos and hand over a genuine opportunity, with notes that mean something
Follow up on pilots and keep momentum between demo and decision
Keep the CRM honest
You are not expected to close deals or run technical demos on your own. A pharmacist runs those with you. Your target is qualified pipeline, not signatures.
What we're looking for
Essential:
Confident on the phone with people who didn't ask you to call
Organised — you can run 200 open conversations without losing any of them
Genuinely curious about how a business works, because you'll need to understand pharmacy operations to be credible
Resilient. Most people will say no, and most of those will be wrong
Nice to have, not required:
Any B2B sales, telesales, recruitment or estate agency experience
Community pharmacy or healthcare background — dispensary, counter or admin all count
Familiarity with a CRM
Package :
£28,000 base salary
Commission paid on outcomes, not activity:
£150 each time a demo you booked leads to an agreed pilot
5% of first-year contract value on every group that signs
Realistic first-year OTE £35,000. Uncapped — strong performers earn well above this
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Full product and sector training
Clear progression to Account Executive within 12–24 months, running your own deals end to end
