Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Fleet & Compliance Administrator to oversee our transportation and compliance operations. This role involves managing fleet compliance, supporting process optimisation, and ensuring seamless coordination across various supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining regulatory standards while enhancing operational efficiency within our company.
Duties
- Support the administration of the company’s health and safety processes, including compliance records, accreditations such as SafeContractor, and routine equipment checks.
- Maintain vehicle tracking and driving licence check systems using the company’s online platform, ensuring all records remain accurate and up to date.
- Monitor vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs, and related compliance documentation to ensure fleet requirements are met.
- Liaise with managers, engineers, and external providers to coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and hire vehicles where required.
- Maintain the engineer equipment register and ensure records are accurate, current, and effectively managed.
- Coordinate product returns to ensure items are collected and credited efficiently and accurately.
- Provide general office support, including stationery ordering, confidential shredding arrangements, post management, and reception cover when required.
- Provide wider administrative support across the business as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally involving fleet coordination, compliance, or health and safety support.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach to work.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to work accurately with digital record systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting compliance processes or maintaining accurate operational records would be advantageous.
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
